Alanna Farr (Hargan), RP

Alanna is a diversely trained Registered Psychotherapist who holds both a Bachelor of Arts: Psychology degree as well as a Masters of Counselling Psychology. Alanna’s therapy is driven by her years of experience working in frontline mental health services, providing evidence-based psychotherapy to those who are dealing with post-traumatic stress and other anxiety/depression related concerns.

John Maher, MD FRCPC

THERAPY, PSYCHIATRY SUPPORT

Dr. Maher did his medical training at McMaster University, psychiatry residency at the University of Ottawa, and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

He has been an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team consulting psychiatrist for 19 years. He previously did adult and emergency psychiatry, was director of a personality disorders program, and provided consultations to transitional youth services, a mental health support court, and a college mental health service.

He is currently Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Ethics in Mental Health and President of the Ontario Association for ACT & FACT (OAAF).

Meghan Gilbert, RSW

Meghan is a Registered Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working in mental health in a variety of frontline capacities. As a Psychotherapist Meghan prides herself on supporting clients of all ages to achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves. Through utilizing a multitude of therapeutic approaches Meghan believes in developing personalized treatment plans designed to build the skills and confidence to thrive in life.

Catherine Larmer, OT Reg. (Ont.)

Catherine is an Occupational Therapist with several years experience working in community mental health. Through this work, she saw how valuable psychotherapy is for those who are dealing with various mental health conditions. She believes in meeting all clients where they are at, and using tailored approaches to help clients get back to the activities they find meaningful in life.

Victoria Gray, RSW

THERAPY, WORKSHOPS

Victoria has a passion for understanding our brain-body communication, & exploring the connection between our thoughts, feelings, & behaviors. Her goal for her clients is to offer therapeutic space where you feel heard, valued, & understood, so that you can relieve your stress, attune to yourself emotionally, choose growth, & practice self-compassion.

She works with parents & individuals to support them in deconstructing the deep shame that can arises from unmet expectations, either your own or your perception of someone else’s expectations of you, & the naïve beliefs or instinctive/adaptive responses that no longer protect or serve you.

Through the brain body connection, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness she will guide you through the journey of discovering yourself, the manifestations within the brain body pathways and unlearning harmful beliefs that no longer serve you to find the freedom to flourish.

Amber has been providing counselling to at risk youth within our community for over 12 years. Amber prides herself in using a client centered approach when working with each individual. She enjoys helping youth gain skills to live a healthier and happier life.

Cassandra (Sandy) Bellamy, RPN

Cassandra (Sandy) is a Registered Practical Nurse with over 14 years experience supporting clients with their mental health in a variety of front line capacities.

Supporting people through life’s challenges; Sandy sees the importance of embracing each individual with a holistic, client centered approach.
